Indian people who are living around various foreign countries especially people in California have formed an organization named “TEAM GREEN INDIA” are been actively supporting in planting saplings in and around India through their team. On 12th October 2019, at a place called Veeranampalayam near Kangayam of Tirupur District, plantation process was carried out by the NSS volunteers of Builders Engineering College as per the guidance laid by the Team Green India for planting 1500 saplings. The program was organised by the Kangayam association head Mr.V.S.Ramalingam and the NSS Officer of Builders Engineering College Mr.D.Palanisamy, Asst.Professor, Dept of  Mechanical Engineering. The volunteers actively participated and worked effectively and was appreciated by the team Green India. The college Principal Dr.S.Gopalakrishnan, Faculty members also appreciated the students for their work and students thanked the institution for creating awareness about the Importance of Afforestation among them through this program. The camp was conducted with the great support of Builders Engineering college, Chairman Mr.V.Sathyamoorthy, Secretary and Correspondent Mr.P.Balasivakumar and Mr.R.Eswaranmoorthy, Treasurer of Builders Engineering College.
